Looking back at past success is the best predictor for future success. That is the intent I had going into this article. It's also interesting to look back at the DNA of Championship teams. Manually entering all the individual stats took some time but I hope that there are at least a couple lessons to be learned from the trends of past years. All of the stats I used in this article I retrieved from fantasydata.com which is an awesome source to use. Here we go

4 originally drafted players on final roster
A Couple Takeaways:
Average of 3 out of the 15 originally drafted players left on final championship roster
5 out of 7 championship teams got the most points from the RB position
However, 5 of the 7 championship teams' biggest bust in the first 4 rounds was a RB
You can draft a below average team and still win a championship
In 2018 I drafted multiple busts early and had a below average draft. However, I hit on the Tyreek Hill and Patty Mahomes stack. Sometimes that's all you need in a draft is just to hit on only a couple picks. I also drafted Eric Ebron in the 14th round who finished as the TE 4 that year but made a very poor choice of dropping him before week 1
The most the RB position popped was 43% of Eiferted team points in 2019
The most the WR position popped was 30% of Gwauvin's team points in 2015
The most the TE position popped was 10% of The Big O's team points in 2014
The most the QB position popped excluding the one year we had 2 QBs was 25% of The Big O's team points in 2018
Each year there is plenty of variance between what positions are contributing the most in the champions' final starting lineup. There will never be one way to win.
Late late round QBs have a very high success rate. 2018: round 11 QB1 2016: 12th round QB6 2015: 14th Round QB10
Each year the champion finished with a top 6 TE yet in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019 the best TE each team drafted was 16th, 26th, 45th, and 78th respectively. That just shows how easy it is to acquire a top TE after the draft.
